-
Javascript implementation of strftime.
Implements strftime for the Date object in javascript based on the PHP implementation described at http://www.php.net/strftime This is in turn based on the Open Group specification defined at http://www.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/007908799/xsh/strftime.html This implementation does not include modified conversion specifiers (i.e., Ex and Ox).
Example
// Simple Example var d = new Date(); var ymd = UWA.Date.strftime(d, '%Y/%m/%d'); var iso = UWA.Date.strftime(d, '%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S%z'); // To get the current time in hours and minutes: var d = new Date(); UWA.Date.strftime(d, "%H:%M"); // To get the current time with seconds in AM/PM notation: var d = new Date(); UWA.Date.strftime(d, "%r"); // To get the year and day of the year for August 23, 2009: var d = new Date('2009/8/23'); UWA.Date.strftime(d, "%Y-%j");
